How We Got Here

quarionvelos started from a simple observation: most financial education either oversimplifies complex topics or drowns students in unnecessary jargon. We set out to find the middle ground.

The Beginning (2018)

Three financial professionals were sharing coffee and frustration. Despite years of experience in institutional finance, they watched friends and family make preventable investment mistakes. The gap between professional knowledge and public understanding seemed unnecessarily wide.

Building Our Approach (2019-2022)

We spent three years developing our teaching methodology, testing different approaches with small groups of learners. The breakthrough came when we realized that starting with risk management, rather than potential profits, created more confident and successful investors.

Today and Tomorrow (2025)

Our platform now serves hundreds of Canadian learners who appreciate our no-nonsense approach to financial education. We're launching our advanced portfolio management course in August 2025, and our options trading fundamentals program follows in November 2025.
